What you get with a Khov home after twelve years?
- You have bad windows that need to be replaced. They used poor windows on a $400,000 home. The brand is MII. Now most are bad.
- You have to replace the garbage disposal early on. The one they used was the smallest available. The size they used is meant for a bachelor apartment that is rarely cooked in. This home by comparison is a 4 bed three bath...
- Your microwave will go up within 4 years. They used Whirlpool appliances. The microwave was dated 1999 and the house was built in 2006...
- Your HVAC system will be contractor grade. The outside AC is 2 ton and the air handler it is connected to is 1 1/2 ton. The duct work in the attic looks like a kid was playing with an erector set. At 12 years now we are forced to spend nearly $20,000 to replace the hvac.
- The term "whatever is on the truck" takes on a whole new meaning when you buy a KHovnanian home.
